1. Setup Guide to Link Your Phone to PC
This takes about five minutes, you only do it once, and then copying links from your computer works automatically.
Windows: PC Windows 10 (Oct 2022 update or later) or Windows 11.
Android: phone, Android 8 or newer (10+ recommended).
Network: Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi.
Accounts: Sign in with the same Microsoft account on both devices.
2. PC: install “Phone Link” (Microsoft)
Press Windows key → search “Phone Link.”
If you don’t see it, open Microsoft Store → search “Phone Link” → Install.
3. Android phone: install Link to Windows
Open Google Play Store → search “Link to Windows.”
Tap Install.
4. Pair Your Devices
On your PC, open Phone Link.
Choose Android when asked for device type.
The PC shows a QR code. (This did not work in my setup; there are other options)
On your phone, open Link to Windows → Link your phone and PC → Continue.
Give the app permission to use the camera.
Point your phone at the QR code on your PC.
Accept any permission prompts (notifications, photos, etc.).
When you see “Devices linked” on both, you’re done.
5. Enable Clipboard Sharing
On your PC:
In Phone Link, click ⚙ Settings → Features.
Turn on Cross-device copy and paste.
On your Android phone:
In Link to Windows → Settings → Linked features, enable Cross-device copy and paste if you see it.
6. Test It
On your PC, copy a YouTube or recipe link (
Ctrl + C).Open ONDA LIST → Faces & Places → Add (+).
You’ll see “Add link from clipboard?”
Tap Yes → Notes fill automatically.
Give it a name → Save. ✅ Done — the link crossed from PC to phone automatically.
Troubleshooting Tips
Symptom Fix
No prompt appears in ONDA LIST: Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi and logged into the same Microsoft account.
Pairing fails: Re-open Phone Link → Settings → Reset App, then re-scan QR
“Copy and paste” toggle missing: Update Phone Link and Link to Windows from Store / Play Store
Link pastes but not detected: Verify you copied the full URL (https://…)
6. Privacy
Everything transfers directly between your devices over an encrypted Microsoft channel. No third-party servers are involved, and ONDA LIST only reads what’s already on your clipboard.
Welcome to ONDA LIST, your calm corner of the internet.
1. How it Works
Copy or share a link on the computer.
– The PC→phone bridge drops it straight into the phone’s clipboard.Open ONDA LIST → Faces & Places → Add (+)
– The clipboard detector offers: “Add link from clipboard?”
– Tap Yes → Notes fills automatically.Choose or take a photo (screenshot, face, or place).
Name and tag it with natural language (e.g., “funny kids,” “recipes,” “vacation ideas”).
Save.
At that moment, you’ve created a memory tile — image + personal description + link — neatly indexed by your own words.
2. The Retrieval Flow (the magic moment)
Open Faces & Places.
Tap a favorite ⭐ tag (e.g., “Recipes”).
Tap a second tag, like “pasta,” “beans,” or “eggplant.”
The list instantly filters to the tagged items, and the number of tiles gets smaller.
Tap the tiles to view the thumbnails.
Tap the thumbnail → The modal opens with a larger picture, your notes, and the link.
Tap link → you’re back on the exact page, video, or recipe.
Zero in on what you wanted to review again. “What did I click last week?” You got it, in seconds.
